Lunch and Learn Board Meetings present forums to hear from our directors who are either advisors to family business owners or are owners of  family businesses. Attendance and lunch are free but we do ask you to make a reservation to ascertain number of guests for meals.

It is important to take some time to look in the mirror sometimes and ask yourself the question, is your business a high performing team? What about your family? As a second-generation family business leader, Kayla not only has perspective to share about the complexity, yet simplicity- of creating a culture where both your business and your family can have an atmosphere of empowerment and opportunity. She will share practical tools that will help to keep you and your family out of the pit of despair intentionally.

Kayla Kersey, a director on Parker Center for Family Business board, is no stranger to family business. She spent 14 years working in a leadership role at TLC Plumbing & Utility with her dad, and the founder, Dale Armstrong. She left the business for 4 years, and in that time developed a successful consulting business working with businesses like Google as well as local financial firms and healthcare companies. She is currently back working on the family business, developing a single-family office with the intention of preparing her parents family legacy for a successful third generation, and beyond.
