Lunch and Learn Board Meetings present forums to hear from our directors who are either advisors to family business owners or are owners of  family businesses. Attendance and lunch are free but we do ask you to make a reservation to ascertain number of guests for meals.

  • Existing policies to prevent fraud
  • Fraud risk assessment tools
  • Key questions to family businesses need to address
  • Structure of your operating board
  • Job descriptions
  • Pre-employment background checks
  • Payroll run review for duplicate names or Social Security numbers
  • Vendor reviews

These fraud risk assessment tools are a small sample of the tools available to develop your internal policies to prevent fraud. Mr. Newberry, a highly sought after speaker, has been a director on the Parker Center for Family Business since its inception and a lecturer at UNM Anderson School of Management.
