About the Event
Lunch and Learn Board Meetings present forums to hear from our directors who are either advisors to family business owners or are owners of family businesses. Attendance and lunch are free but we do ask you to make a reservation to ascertain number of guests for meals.

Mike Vigil, II, President of The Vigil Group, LLC, a multiple generational family owned business
The speakers will shed light on perceptions and stereotypes of next generation leaders in family owned businesses. They will address what it takes to earn the creditability within the business, community and industry. Lessons learned, risks taken and the fallout of their successes and failures while effectively insulating the family and preparing the business for growth. Transition of ownership from the patriarchal generation to the next generation of family members can be a very challenging path to follow. Techniques for asset transfer will also be discussed.
